Middlemarch Junior School
Welcome
Middlemarch School is an inclusive Junior school for pupils in years 3 - 6, aged 7 - 11 years. It is close to Nuneaton town centre, with two classes in Year 6 and one class in years 3 to 5. We welcome children from diverse backgrounds many of whom have English as an additional language. We pride ourselves on how well new children integrate within our friendly school.
We have an enhanced specialist provision - called The Bridge. It is for children with an Education Health Care Plan ( EHCP) whose primary need is communication and interaction. For more details on The Bridge please see our Bridge page.
‘Pupils from diverse cultures and backgrounds unite at this lively and vibrant school. Many join the school after Year 3 and throughout the academic year. These pupils are warmly welcomed into the community where fellow pupils act as their ‘buddies’ to help them settle in. Everyday life here at Middlemarch School starts at 8:00 for breakfast club for any pupils who wish to join, we currently provide after school sports clubs everyday of the week and have wrap around care until 5:15 to support our families.

Our highly experienced staff continuously go the extra mile to ensure that all pupils achieve their very best, academically, socially and emotionally. Our school day starts at 8:40 and finishes at 3:10 giving a total of 32.5 hours each week.
