Ready, Respectful, Safe

Middlemarch School is an inclusive Junior school for pupils in years 3 - 6, aged 7 - 11 years. It is close to Nuneaton town centre, with two classes in Year 6 and one class in years 3 to 5. We welcome children from diverse backgrounds many of whom have English as an additional language. We pride ourselves on how well new children integrate within our friendly school.
We have an enhanced specialist provision - called The Bridge. It is for children with an Education Health Care Plan ( EHCP) whose primary need is communication and interaction. For more details on The Bridge please see our Bridge page.
"As one pupil said, 'Within a week you feel part of the school.' The school's inclusive culture successfully fosters its vision that 'As a family we achieve.' "
"Thank you to the wonderful team for creating such a nurturing and inspiring environment. It's clear that every teacher truly cares about each child's progress. It's rare to find a school where children feel both safe and inspired."
"The school’s curriculum helps to prepare pupils for life in modern Britain. Pupils study a range of topical issues, including important concepts such as fundamental British values. Most pupils understand these concepts and talk about them seriously. For instance, when discussing the rule of law, one pupil explained, ‘Everyone has to follow the rules; it keeps the country civilised.’"
"With all your support I believe that my child can achieve their goal of high standards. At school they continue to be challenged in every way for this to be achieved. Thank you."
