PE - Linking PE Throughout The School

When appropriate, we link our PE learning to other areas of the curriculum to embed and deepen the children's understanding and continue promoting a healthy, active lifestyle. For example, during topic lessons, children may learn an African dance when studying Africa in Year 5 or they may participate in Victorian parlour games during their Victorian topic in Year 6. The school has also recently been mapped for orienteering which we will begin to implement over the spring and summer term. This will provide huge opportunities for us to further link PE to the curriculum.
