The Board of Governors at Middlemarch School is considering a change to the school's admissions policy for September 2027. We are consulting on the following changes:
Change the Middlemarch Junior School admissions policy to reflect a new priority area from September 2027
Change the published pupil admission number (PAN) from September 2027
This is part of a statutory consultation process that the Governing Body of Middlemarch School is managing to ensure that the school can continue to provide a sustainable, high-quality education provision for our community. The school invites you to take part in this consultation. We welcome your views on the proposed changes raised in this consultation and all viewpoints will be taken into account as part of the decision-making process.

Deadline for comments is noon on Friday 30th January 2026.
Following the end of the consultation we shall publish the results, and this may include quotes of comments which will be anonymous (no personal details will be shared).
19th December 2025 – 30th January 2026: A 6-week consultation with parents,
the Local Authorities, Nuneaton schools and other interested stakeholders to consider the views
expressed regarding the proposals.
End January 2026: Review of the results of this consultation by the Board of Governors.
End February 2026: Decision by the Board of Governors and publication and implementation of new admissions policy for 2027.
